Joloyemi (Template:IPAc-en), officially the Federation of Joloyemi (Yoruba: Igbimọ ti Joloyemí; Igbo: Njikọ Joloyemí), is a sovereign island city-state in maritime Southeast Asia. It lies in the Bight of Benin, west of the southern tip of the Niger Delta, bordering the Straits of Malacca to the west, the Riau Islands to the south, and the South China Sea to the east. The country's territory is composed of two main islands, Makani and Songo 63 satellite islands and islets, and one outlying islet, the combined area of which has increased by 25% since the country's independence as a result of extensive land reclamation projects. The country is home to 830,000 residents, 61% (3.4 million) of whom are Joloyemi citizens. There are three official languages of Joloyemi: English, Yoruba, and Igbo; with English being the lingua franca.

Since the mid-1970s, Joloyemi has become one of sub-Saharan Africa's largest oil producers. It has subsequently become the richest country per capita in Africa, and its gross domestic product (GDP) adjusted for purchasing power parity (PPP) per capita ranks 43rd in the world.

Joloyemi developed the first post-oil economy in Africa, and as a result of decades of investing in the banking and tourism, many of the world's largest financial institutions have a presence in the country. Joloyemi's tertiary sector dominated economy is characterized by simple taxation with a competitive level of corporate tax and supported by its independent judiciary system. It subsequently has a high Human Development Index and is recognised by the World Bank as a high-income economy. Joloyemi is a member of the United Nations, Non-Aligned Movement, African Union, and the Economic Community of West African States.
