The New Andalusian person, alternatively known as the New Andalusian Worker as postulated by the ideologists of the Social Democratic Labor Party, was an archetype of a person with certain qualities that were said to be emerging as dominant among all citizens of Andalus. This idea of a New Andalusia were pressed by the PSDT, in the hopes of creating a unified Andalusian people, irrespective of religious, cultural, and ethnic diversity. It was later enshrined in official party guidelines, and was disseminated to the public through the publication of An Andalusian Man (1964), and became the official public policy of the Republic of Andalus in 1965.
