Assujettissement (Avelian: Subjugation) is a Andalusian political thriller TV series with 30 episodes that premiered on ABC on 5 October 2012. The series is based on the book series of the same name by Matthieu Verlooy.
Assujettissement depicts a fictional near future in which the world has fallen victim to severe climate change, and the ensuing scramble for the remaining natural resources threatens to destabilize what remains. The East Althenian Sphere, with support from Columbia, has subjugated Andalus to a brutal occupation prompted by it's refusal to restart oil production following a series of devastating natural disasters.
